June 2026
This release brings meaningful improvements across the board: chat messages are now fully searchable across all conversations, schools in Canton Aargau and Schwyz get updated cantonal configurations out of the box, while music schools gain full control over their sign-up status setup. LehrerOffice data - including diagnostics, support goals, and learning assessments - can now flow directly into PUPIL without manual re-entry. On the Educamos side, invoicing gets a significant upgrade: new POS ticket filters, direct invoice downloads for families, and full regulatory compliance for schools in Mexico, Brazil, and across Spain. Rounding things off, staff can now see a student's remaining absence balance directly in the entry dialog - right when it's needed.

Chat Message Search
What’s new
Chat messages are now searchable across all conversations. Users can search for keywords and multi-word phrases, see how many chats contain a match, and jump directly to the relevant message — including in end-to-end encrypted chats.
Why this matters
Finding specific information in past conversations used to mean scrolling through entire chat histories. That’s gone now. Type a search term, see your results, jump straight to the message. It’s one of those changes that sounds small but saves real time every day.

School Administration - Updated Cantonal Document Templates for Schwyz
What’s new
Schools in canton Schwyz now have access to 15 refreshed cantonal document templates directly in PUPIL under Master Data → Dokumentenverwaltung → Kantonale Vorlagen. This includes 4 new templates across Fachstelle Autismus, Projektunterricht, and Sonderpädagogik, as well as 11 updated templates for Anmeldeformulare Schulpsychologie and Noten- und Fachbefreiungen - all aligned to the latest cantonal requirements.
Why this matters
Keeping track of the right template version is one of those small but persistent administrative headaches. With this update, school administrators and teachers in Schwyz always have the current, canton-compliant version at hand - directly in PUPIL, no separate files, no searching. Documents are generated correctly the first time, every time.
Master Data - Canton Aargau: Subjects and Lesson Table Updated
What’s new
The mandatory subjects for Canton Aargau have been reviewed, completed, and aligned with the official cantonal lesson table. Each subject has been assigned an internal key. Optional subjects such as instrumental lessons can be added by schools themselves within the relevant subject area. The lesson table has been updated accordingly.
Why this matters
Schools in Canton Aargau no longer need to set up or verify their subject configuration manually. Everything is pre-configured correctly from day one - mandatory subjects in place, lesson table up to date, and enough flexibility to add school-specific optional subjects on top.
School Administration - Data Imports: Diagnostics, Support Goals, and Learning Assessments
What’s new
Schools can now transfer their support planning data from LehrerOffice to PUPIL using dedicated export files. This covers three areas: Diagnostic areas can be imported directly into the Support Plan dossier under the «Diagnostics» tab (Canton Aargau only), support goals can be imported in a structured format into the support plan, and student learning assessments are transferred automatically.
Why this matters
Schools that manage support planning in LehrerOffice no longer need to re-enter their data manually in PUPIL. Diagnostics, support goals, and learning assessments move over cleanly and directly - saving time and eliminating a whole category of copy-paste errors.
School Life - Absence: Remaining Balance Displayed When Creating an Absence
What's new
When creating an absence with a limited reason - such as free half-days or joker days - the dialog now shows how many half-days or lessons the student still has available. The displayed balance is based on already saved absences only. The current absence being entered is deducted after saving.
Why this matters
Before this change, staff had no visibility into a student's remaining balance while entering an absence - making it easy to accidentally exceed the allowed limit. Now the information is right there in the dialog, exactly when it's needed.
School Life - Certificate Class View: New Cover Pages for Certificate Portfolio and Evaluation Dossier · Canton Aargau
What's new
Two new cover page options are now available in the print modal for Canton Aargau. The cover pages for Certificate Portfolio is generated in the correct variant based on the student's school level, and the cover page for evaluation dossier is generated in the appropriate variant for the student's school type.
Why this matters
Schools in Canton Aargau can now print official cover pages for the Certificate Portfolio and Evaluation Dossier directly from PUPIL - no separate documents, no manual preparation. The right variant is selected automatically based on the student's school level and type, so everything is ready to print from the start.
Music School - Configurable Sign-up Statuses
What's new
Sign-up statuses can now be individually named, added, and sorted in any order using drag-and-drop. System-relevant statuses can be renamed but not removed. Each status can also be marked as relevant or irrelevant for workload calculation — only workload-relevant statuses are counted in the Teacher Assignment view.
Why this matters
Every music school works differently. Now the platform speaks your language - literally. Define status labels that match your internal terminology, arrange them the way your team thinks, and make sure the workload table only reflects what actually counts. Less room for error, more clarity in teacher planning.
Note: The adjustment of remaining lists and reports to the new status configuration will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks and months.

Improved Invoicing for POS Tickets
What's new
Administration teams can now search directly for uninvoiced POS tickets using new filters: all tickets, sales to users with complete payer data, sales to users with incomplete payer data, and sales to the general public.
Why this matters
Tracking down pending uninvoiced tickets used to mean manual searching. The new filters surface exactly what's needed in seconds - less time on financial admin, fewer errors.
Invoice Download for Family Members
What's new
Parents and guardians can now download invoices directly for the concepts and tickets for which they are the payers - without contacting school staff.
Why this matters
Families get immediate access to their own invoices, and school administration teams no longer field those requests. A small change that frees up real time on both sides.
Special Characters in Tax Data Names (Mexico)
What's new
Special characters are now fully supported when editing and saving payer tax data names - relevant for schools in Mexico.
Why this matters
Mexican tax data often requires special characters that weren't previously supported, forcing manual workarounds. That's no longer the case. Tax records are now accurate and complete from the start.
Updates to the e-NOTAS Integration (Brazil)
What's new
The integration with e-NOTAS - the provider responsible for issuing mandatory fiscal invoices for localities and cities in Brazil - has been updated to reflect the latest tax reform requirements, including adjustments to the conditional discount field.
Why this matters
Schools in Brazil can continue issuing mandatory fiscal invoices without interruption. No action needed - compliance with the updated tax reform is handled automatically.
Regulatory Adjustments for LOMLOE and LOOIFP
What's new

Why this matters
With the academic year closing, administrators need everything in order. These adjustments ensure grades, documents, and certificates are fully compliant - so the year can be wrapped up without regulatory uncertainty.
New Familias App
What's new
The new Familias application is now available for the Global and Argentina variants. Users of the current app receive an in-app notice informing them of the new version.
Why this matters
Families in Argentina and Global variant regions get access to an updated app experience, and the in-app notice ensures a smooth transition - no communication gaps, no confusion about where to go next.
Emergency Notices
What's new
Schools can now send emergency notices directly through the app to immediately alert families and students to any situation requiring urgent attention. Currently available exclusively in the new Familias app for Argentina and the Global variant.
Why this matters

Redesigned News Email for Families
What's new
The email families receive for notifications about their children or general school matters has a new design - cleaner, more modern, and fully adapted to all devices.
Why this matters
School communications are often the first impression families get of how a school operates. A well-formatted, device-friendly email makes that impression count - and makes it easier for families to actually read and engage with what's sent.
New Member Search in Web Messaging Groups
What's new
Web Messaging now includes a search field in the group member list, available for both custom and academic groups and for all participant types - staff, students, and family members.
Why this matters
Finding a specific participant in a large group used to mean scrolling through long lists. Now it takes seconds. Especially useful in school-wide or year-group channels where member lists can get long quickly.
Extended Attendance Report · Argentina
What's new
A new Extended Attendance Report is now available, offering a detailed view of each student's attendance over a selected period. The data source for grade reports is also expanded to record total justified and unjustified absences with the necessary breakdown.
Why this matters
Schools in Argentina now have a more comprehensive tool for attendance monitoring. Detailed, broken-down data makes internal management easier and gives staff everything they need to communicate attendance information clearly to families.
