What's new First name, last name, and date of birth of siblings can now be used as placeholders in template management and are correctly replaced when documents are rendered. These fields are also visible and usable in the address book and in lists. Up to four siblings are taken into account.

Why this matters Staff can now pull sibling names and birth dates straight into templates, address book entries, and lists - no more manually cross-checking family records to fill in the gaps.

Master Data - Doctor and Dentist Details Now Usable in Templates, Lists, and Mass Mutation

What's new Doctor and dentist information, including contact and address details, can now be used as placeholders in templates, shown in the address book and person lists, and added as columns in the list configuration. A doctor or dentist can also be assigned to multiple students at once via mass mutation, while individual fields stay protected from bulk edits.

What's new Last name, first name, mobile number, business phone, and school email for teachers, special education staff, speech therapists, and psychomotor therapists can now be inserted as placeholders in templates and are filled in correctly when documents are generated. For each staff type, the first three assigned people are available individually as placeholders (e.g. Teacher 1, 2, 3). These fields are also visible and usable in the address book and lists.

Why this matters School admin staff can now pull teacher and special education staff contact details - including speech therapy and psychomotor therapy - straight into letters, lists, and address books, with no more manual lookup or copy-pasting.

School Life / Lesson Planning - Updated Absence Reasons per Revised Volksschulgesetz (Canton Aargau)

What's new Canton Aargau's revised Volksschulgesetz (VSG), in force since 1 August 2026, updated the rules for recording student absences. The AG absence reasons in PUPIL have been updated accordingly on behalf of the canton: some existing reasons were renamed and new ones were added. School authorities (Schulträger) can continue to manage their own additional absence reasons as before.

School Life / Lesson Planning - Interdisciplinary Assessments: Separate Assessments per Class Teacher

What's new When creating an assessment planning from a template for a class, a separate assessment is now created for each class teacher, while all subject teachers are jointly assigned to one shared assessment. For groups, the existing logic with one combined assessment for all teachers remains unchanged.

Why this matters Class teachers now automatically get their own dedicated assessment, while subject teachers keep working from a single shared one - matching how grading responsibilities are actually split for classes, without any extra manual setup.

School Administration - More Precise Percentage Display in Employment Contracts

What's new Percentage values for individual work fields in employment contracts (Unterricht, SuS, Schule, Lehrperson, Altersentlastung, and additional hours) now display with three decimal places. The total remains rounded to one decimal place but is now explicitly labeled "(rounded)". This removes the apparent mismatch between the sum of individual values and the displayed total, both in the system view and on printed employment contracts and their appendix.

What's new Staff absences can now have multiple substitutes assigned at once, instead of just a single person. Each substitute can also have a comment describing which tasks they take over. Both the absence list and the Excel export display every assigned person together with their comment, so there's no longer a need for free-text remarks.
