July 2026
This release is all about reducing manual work in day-to-day school administration. Pupil gets a significant expansion of available placeholders and list fields - family doctor details, legal representative information, and student mobile numbers are now integrated directly into templates and workflows. Absence widget permissions are now enforced consistently on the home screen, ensuring student data stays protected. For schools in Brazil and Chile, Educamos delivers two major updates: the new Familias app and a direct emergency notification channel for urgent situations. Spanish schools can close the academic year with confidence - all grades and documents are fully aligned with the latest LOMLOE and LOOIFP requirements.
Sdui
iOS 27 Compatibility
What's new: The Sdui app is fully compatible with the iOS 27 public beta.
The benefit: Users are always on solid ground - no matter which iOS version they're running. Compatibility is already in place before iOS 27 is officially available to everyone.
Pin up to 10 Chats
What's new: The number of pinnable chats has increased from 3 to 10.
The benefit: Users can keep all their important chats pinned and accessible - less searching, faster access to the conversations that matter most.
Pupil
Master Data - Family Doctor Information as Template Placeholders
What's new: A student's family doctor details can now be used as placeholders in template management, making the information directly available in documents and templates.
Why this matters: No more manual look-up when generating documents that require family doctor details - the data flows in automatically.
Master Data - Photo Consent & Media Agreement Visible in Lists and Filters
What's new: The fields "Photo Publication Consent" and "Media Agreement" are now visible and usable in the address book and person lists. The Media Agreement can additionally be shown as a column in the person list and used as a filter criterion in the advanced filter.
Why this matters: School administrators can quickly identify missing or outdated agreements across all students at a glance - without having to open each record individually.
Master Data (Canton Aargau) - CSV Export of Project Work Evaluations
What's new: Teachers and administrators can now export recorded project work (Abschlussarbeit) evaluations as a CSV file for direct import into external systems.
Why this matters: Evaluation data can be handed off to external systems without manual re-entry - saving time at a busy point in the school year.
Master Data -Additional Legal Representative Fields as Placeholders and in Lists
What's new: Additional legal representative fields (GV1-GV3) - including gender, nationality, first language, profession, and full address - are now available as placeholders in template management and in the address book and person lists.
Why this matters: Legal guardian details can now be pulled directly into templates and lists, eliminating manual copy-pasting and keeping communication consistent.
Master Data - Student Mobile Number Available Across More Features
What's new: The student mobile number is now available as a placeholder in template management, in the address book and lists, in the column configuration of the person list, and via mass mutation.
Why this matters: The mobile number is now where you need it - integrated into everyday workflows without manual workarounds.
School Life -Absence Widget Permissions Adjusted
What's new: Visibility of absence widgets on the home screen is now controlled by view permissions. The "Absenzen meiner Lernenden" widget is only shown to users with access to absence management; the "Alle Lernenden" widget is restricted to users with access to the mobile view.
Why this matters: Student data is only visible to those who are actually authorized to see it - permissions are now consistently enforced right on the home screen.
School Life - Assessment Status Column in Assessment Planning
What's new: The assessment planning overview now displays a status for each assessment: "offen" (no aspects evaluated yet), "begonnen" (partially evaluated), or "abgeschlossen" (all aspects evaluated).
Why this matters: Teachers can see at a glance which assessments still need attention - no more opening each one individually to check progress.
School Life - Interdisciplinary Assessments: Automatic Student Assignment
What's new: When creating an assessment planning, students are now automatically assigned based on their class or group. Students who join the class after the planning has been created are also added automatically.
Why this matters: No more manual student selection when setting up assessments - the right students are in from the start, and latecomers are picked up automatically.
Additio App
Side Menu Adapts to School Configuration
What's new: The Edvoice side menu now shows only the sections a school has enabled for each profile. Students and families see only the sections relevant to them - such as Grades, Attendance, Payments, or Timetable - based on what the school has set up in Additio. If a section is not available, it simply doesn't appear in the menu.
Why this matters: Students and families get a cleaner, more focused menu - no clutter from sections that don't apply to them.
Configure Visible Sections in Edvoice for Students and Families
What's new: Schools can now customize which sections appear in the Edvoice side menu for students and families. From the Edvoice settings panel, users with the editing role can independently enable or disable sections such as Grades, Attendance, Payments, and Timetable for each profile. By default, all sections remain visible, preserving existing behavior.
Why this matters: Schools get direct control over what students and families see in Edvoice - no technical involvement needed. This reduces distractions and keeps each profile focused on what matters most.
New Subscription Plans for Individual Teachers
What's new: Additio App now offers two subscription plans for individual teachers: Standard, with full access to classroom management tools (gradebook, student tracking, communication, etc.), and Pro AI, which adds AI-powered rubric generation and session planning. This applies to individual subscriptions on web, iOS, and Android.
Why this matters: Teachers can pick the plan that fits how they work - Standard for classroom management, or Pro AI to save time on rubrics and session planning with AI. The switch happens automatically at renewal, with no action needed and no interruption to access.
Educamos
New Familias App Released - (Brazil & Chile)
What's new: The new Familias application is now available for Brazil and Chile. Users of the current app receive an in-app notice informing them of the new version.
Why this matters: Families get access to an updated app experience, and the proactive in-app notice ensures a smooth transition with no communication gaps.
Emergency Notices in the Familias App - (Brazil & Chile)
What's new: Schools can now send emergency notices directly through the Familias app to immediately alert families and students to any situation requiring urgent attention.
Why this matters: When something unexpected happens, schools can reach families fast - directly through the app, no detours.
Regulatory Adjustments for LOMLOE & LOOIFP
What's new: Grades, official documents, promotion decisions, and certificates have been updated across multiple autonomous communities to reflect the latest requirements under LOMLOE (general legislation) and LOOIFP (Vocational Training).
Why this matters: School administrators can close the academic year with full confidence that all documents and grades are compliant - no last-minute regulatory surprises.
